Usage tracking

Monitor how your PDFs are used and stay within your plan limits.

What usage tracking shows​

Track important metrics:

  • How many PDFs you have vs your limit
  • Which PDFs are most linked
  • Active vs inactive PDFs
  • Recent upload activity
  • Storage usage

View your usage (app internal)​

  1. From your admin, go to Apps > PDF Connect
  2. See usage widget in your dashboard
  3. Shows "X of Y PDFs used"
  4. Progress bar indicates percentage

Updates automatically as you add or remove PDFs.

Usage alerts​

Get notified when:

  • You reach 80% of your limit
  • You hit your plan limit
  • Billing date approaches
  • Large files uploaded

Configure alerts in Settings.

PDF usage details​

Click any PDF to see:

  • How many resources it's linked to
  • Which pages display it
  • Upload date and file size
  • Active or inactive status

Plan usage over time​

Track how your usage changes:

  • Daily upload activity
  • Library growth over time
  • Deleted PDFs history
  • Plan upgrade history

Available in Standard and Unlimited plans.

Usage optimization tips​

Stay within your limit:

  • Delete unused PDFs regularly
  • Reuse PDFs instead of duplicating
  • Review quarterly for cleanup
  • Upgrade when consistently near limit

Monitor actively:

  • Check dashboard weekly
  • Use alerts to stay informed
  • Plan uploads based on remaining space
  • Consider upgrade before hitting limit

Export usage data​

Download usage reports (Standard+):

  • PDF inventory CSV
  • Link relationships
  • Usage statistics
  • Activity logs

Use for recordkeeping or analysis.
