Install the app

  1. Go to the Shopify App Store Page of PDF Connect

The app appears in your Shopify admin under Apps > PDF Connect.

What permissions PDF Connect needs

PDF Connect requests the following Shopify API access scopes:

  • write_content - Create and manage pages, blog posts, and articles for linking PDFs and add metafields
  • write_products - Create and manage products and collections for linking PDFs and add metafields
  • read_themes - Access your theme to check for existing templates (e.g., product, collection)

These minimal permissions ensure PDF Connect can link PDFs to your store resources and integrate with your theme while maintaining security.
