Add catalogs, buying guides, and resources to collection pages.
Why link PDFs to collections​
Collection PDFs help customers browse and shop:
- Product catalogs - Show full collection overview
- Buying guides - Help customers choose products
- Lookbooks - Display style inspiration
- Collection info - Explain the collection theme
- Size guides - For clothing or furniture collections
Link a PDF to a collection​
- From your PDF library, click the PDF
- Click Link PDF
- Select Collections from the dropdown
- Search for your collection by name
- Click the collection to select it
- Click Link PDF

Find collections quickly:
- Type any part of the collection name
- Results filter as you type
- Collections appear with product count
- Click to select
Link to smart collections​
Both manual and smart collections work the same way. Link your PDF and it appears on the collection page regardless of collection type.
Multiple PDFs per collection​
Add several PDFs to one collection:
Example: Add a catalog PDF plus a buying guide
- Link the first PDF
- Return to your library
- Link the second PDF to the same collection
- Customers see both PDFs
One PDF on many collections​
Share a PDF across collections:
Example: Link a brand story PDF to all your collections
- Link to the first collection
- Link to the next collection
- Continue linking to more collections
Or use bulk linking to link to many collections at once.
Where PDFs appear​
PDFs display where you add the Theme App Extension in your theme:
- Above the collection grid
- In a sidebar
- Below collection description
- In a dedicated section
